Thanks to Naela Health, I understand what nutrition does to my body and mind, what I need to consume for optimal focus, and also how to apply it in practical terms.
As a busy entrepreneur, regular meals were not a priority. Now I always have breakfast and I understand which nutrients are important, what my plate should consist of. The happy conversations, the nice surprise recipes and the personal advice make it a one of a kind process.
Annalena's nutrition advice completely changed my relationship with food. I now make fresh food all of the time, snack less and feel so much healthier as a result! No more Albert Heijn pre-made salads for me;)
It's because of Annalena that I feel better in my own skin since Corona. Being at home a lot made me eat much more - both in quantities but also snacks.
The online course and private coaching session have taught me so much and hade made me much more conscious about things. What works best for me now: 3 meals a day, not too much for dinner and eat that on a breakfast plate, the 80/20 rule, eating enough fats to stay full for longer. By leaving out certain foods and adding in others, I was able to repopulate the good bacteria in my gut. It took some getting used to at first but I am so happy that my outdated beliefs are in the past now;)
Annalena helped me to slowly and subtly change the way I have been eating, but most of all making me conscious about what I eat and what that does to my body. Together we discovered what works for me and I am so thankful I finally feel way better, I restored a healthy relationship with food again and I actually know what is good for me personally through her experience and in depth knowledge that she shared with me.
Annalena helped me to adjust my diet in such a way that it is varied, very tasty and nutritious!
The coaching program has contributed to a life without stomach pain! I enjoy cooking again, trying new recipes and experimenting! Especially the realization that healthy eating is not about scarcity, but about abundance.
I have lost a few pounds, I have almost no stomach pain and I see the kitchen as a playground where I can experiment. I now realize that when I look lovingly and abundantly at food and my body, it really can't go wrong!
The Eat well, feel good introduction course to nutrition really helped me to listen to my own body. What do I need, what makes me feel energetic and what doesn’t? I’ve been struggling for years to find a diet that worked for me, mostly restricting certain types of food. But what I’ve learned from Annalena is that intuitive eating, and enjoying good and healthy food is better in the long run. Now I enjoy prepping and cooking healthy meals for myself, focussing on what works for me instead of what I can’t have. What a relieve! Therefore I would really recommend the introduction course to everyone!
Do you feel
- insecure about what to eat
- unhappy in your own body
- low on energy
- in need of guidance?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of the above, then nutrition coaching for you.
The course provides you with a good foundation about healthy eating and the basics of nutritional science. It includes handy lists, exercises, downloads and recipes.
If you are looking for personalized guidance, tailor made nutrition plans and recipes as well as regular coaching sessions, then the private coaching program will be more suitable for you.
No, my approach to coaching usually does not put you on a strict diet and is generally focused on abundance, rather than restriction. Using the principles of positive nutrition, we focus on what you can fill your plate with instead of what you need to stop doing.
No, there is absolutely no need to go vegan or vegetarian if this is something you do not want to do. Everybody is different, there is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition. We will focus on a personal approach that works for you specifically, whether that is vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian or eat-everything-atarian.
No, there is absolutely no need to cut out gluten, sugar or dairy completely if your body can deal with it just fine. Everybody is different, there is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition. We will focus on a personal approach that works for you specifically, this can be gluten free, dairy free, sugar free or full of everything.
My approach is all about creating a lifestyle that is enjoyable for you. This includes a glass of wine, some crisps or chocolate or whatever it is that you crave every now and then. During the coaching, we’ll speak about turning these moments into special occasions rather than mindless daily things.
Healthy eating and cooking shouldn’t take more time in the kitchen. Instead we should be using our time more efficiently by planning ahead and shopping and cooking accordingly. I’ll show you how!
If a private coaching program is too expensive for you, I would recommend starting with the online course which provides a fantastic base to eat well and feel good. My goal is to make information about healthy food available to everyone, so that you can make your own educated choices afterwards and this is why I created an online, basic introduction to nutrition course that is more affordable than the tailor made program. You can also find lots of advice, inspiration and nutritional science facts on my instagram and blog.
